The EP.

Hey.

My first EP, Hole In My Sock, will be released on January 15th.

The whole process of Hole In My Sock was very impromptu and loosey-goosey. To be totally honest, when I first recorded A carver's love song during the summer, I had no idea that it would end up one piece of a larger portrait. Until I recorded the third song, all the music I had produced up to that point was only meant to be experimental pieces on my part - mostly for fun, but also to show myself that I was improving as both a musician and a producer. I don't think it was until I discovered my "sound" when I really wanted to compile all the music into one EP.

Like I mentioned, the whole journey was a process. A process that started, and really ended in my bedroom. I have a makeshift studio right beside my bed, and that is where all my recording took place.

I also must thank some people for being a massive help to me during the process of Hole In My Sock. Adam for playing bass, Eddie for the fantastic painting that I'm now using for the cover, Alyne for taking pictures of my stupid face, and all my friends who I made listen to my half-baked works-in-progress. They'll say it's their pleasure, but we'll both know that deep in their hearts, there is something that I may have permanently ruined. And for that I sincerely apologize.

I'll have this posted everywhere, but because I'm an annoying shit, I will say it here too. Hole In My Sock will be available for purchase at all major online music stores (iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, etc.), Bandcamp, and streamable via Spotify. You can pay whatever you want with Bandcamp. I think I get to give away 100 free downloads or something.

Hopefully this is one step towards something much, much bigger, but who knows? It's all a mystery.
